Education: Dr. Singh is a proud graduate of the College of Veterinary Sciences at Punjab Agricultural University India in March 1987.
After completing his veterinary board examinations he received his license to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Florida in 1988. He then joined a multi-doctor veterinary practice in Winter Park Florida, where he gained valuable experience in medicine and surgery Dr. Singh started Luv-N-Care Animal Hospital of Longwood in June of 1992. After 6 years he built a new facility where he practices veterinary orthopedic surgery, laser surgery, emergency critical care, and internal medicine. As Luv-N-Care Animal Hospital of Longwood became an established name in the North Orlando area, a second location Luv-N-Care Animal Hospital of Windermere opened in January of 2014. He now works with three other veterinarians, his associates in both locations.
Dr. Singh keeps his skills sharp and current with continuing education. He has acquired extensive knowledge in veterinary orthopedic surgery, laser surgery, emergency critical care, and internal medicine. He has performed over 20,000 surgical procedures including routine spays/neuters, to advanced orthopedic and soft tissue surgeries.
In his free time, he likes to spend time with his family, friends, and family cat name buddy. He works out regularly to stay fit and sharp. He loves to play golf with his friend when time allows.
Dr. Donita McCants – Veterinarian
Dr. Donita McCants is joining the team as our new Associate Veterinarian! She received her Bachelor’s degree in biological sciences from the University of Georgia in 2011 and then went on to Tuskegee University to complete Veterinary training in 2015. She was raised in Georgia but state hopped coming from a military family background. She was a general practitioner in private and corporate practice for 4 years and has some internship training at Affiliated Veterinary Specialists in Maitland! She has strong interests in surgery, internal medicine and enjoys learning new and innovative techniques to treat your furry babies. She has successfully raised and trained with the Guide Dog Foundation and America’s Vet Dogs to enhance the independence of people with disabilities and retired veterans. She has a young son named Stephen, and she is also a certified Zumba instructor, and loves all thinks fitness and wellness! Her favorite breed is anything “poo” related — Maltipoo, Goldendoodle, etc- you name it – she’s around the corner loving on them.
